In 2006 Wayne became a much valued supporter of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and as well as helping with publicity and awareness. Wayne recently played a key role in promoting the PCFA raffle car - the Whippet Whizza which raised more than $60,000.
"I've had my fair share of thrills and spills in my life but one thing I don’t take risks with is my annual routine of having a health check up and talking to my doctor about prostate cancer - and I say to any bloke my age - go on "get on with it".
Wayne has been a great help promoting the PCFA raffle car and is now helping PCFA with the fundraising bike ride Tour de Cure - http://www.tourdecure.com.au
