- Three incredibly brave supporters of PCFA plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, beginning on 31 July.
Lasting a total of eight days, the valiant group are seeking official sponsors to help them raise as many funds as possible for research into a cure for prostate cancer.

- The Blackwood Districts Prostate Cancer Support Group will be holding a free public awareness meeting, 'What every man should know about prostate cancer'.

- The Wesley Centre for Hyperbaric Medicine in QLD will hold an open day to promote awareness of hyperbaric medicine - used to treat patients suffering radiation cystitis and proctitis after treatment for prostate cancer. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

- The Rotary Club of Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook will hold various fundraising activities throughout 2009 that includes raffles, a giant garage sale, sausage sizzles and wine sales.
