      Australian men will continue to benefit from tests that indicate their risk of prostate cancer, says peak national body.

      Tuesday 16th November 2010: The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) says increased awareness about the benefits of testing for men and a focus on early detection will help reduce the future impact of prostate cancer in Australia.  PCFA was commenting following reports in the Sydney Morning Herald today (16/11/10 p13) that a new book is being launched which seeks to cast doubt on the benefits of tests which provide guidance to men about their risk of prostate cancer.

        Star-studded campaign drives better prostate cancer awareness

        Some of Australia’s biggest TV, music, media and sports stars have come together to front a major prostate cancer awareness campaign that offers men clarity about prostate cancer and testing. The campaign has been developed to provide men with clear advice on prostate cancer risk by encouraging men to discuss their individual risk and testing options with their doctor.

              Australia's Biggest Truly National Fishing Competition

              The Pirtek Fishing Challenge is a competition open to everyone in each State and Territory across the country.
