PCFA is delighted to make available the 2011/2012 Annual Report.

This year has been one of significant change and achievement for PCFA. Highlights for the year included the launch of Australia’s first Prostate Cancer Specialist Nursing Service, thanks to the very generous support of Movember.  Through their support we also funded 57 outstanding research projects across Australia and further extended our support of world-class research into prostate cancer.

PCFA celebrated Ten Years of Progress in Prostate Cancer with the publication of the findings from the annual Community Attitudes Survey; an important milestone for the organisation cataloguing the changes in community attitudes towards prostate cancer and the health seeking behaviour of men over the last ten years.

We also grew the number of Affiliated Support Groups to over 130 through Federal Government Funding via Cancer Australia ensuring that more men and their families have access to support and information when they most need it.
