Australian Motor Racing Legend and recent Motor Sport Hall of Fame inductee John Bowe will be the keynote speaker at a private showing of the original, 1969 version of "The Italian Job", starring Michael Caine.
Join JB at the event, being held to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia Research Fund.
There will be two sessions of the movie screened at 4.00pm and 8.00pm, with a full sit down two course dinner served between the two movie sessions at 6.00pm, allowing all attendees to mingle with John Bowe and other special guests. Drinks will be available for purchase at the licenced Restaurant Bar.
The movie will be shown in the IRT Links Seaside theatre, which recently underwent a complete audio-visual makeover.
A donation of $50 per person includes the movie, the meal and the chance to have a chat with Australia’s most successful racing driver. Bookings are essential as seats are strictly limited – nominate which session you want to attend, the earlier or later screening. There will be some additional fund raising activities on the night, so bring your credit card with you. If you cannot attend you can still donate – just ring Carol for details.
